In 2012 she began working on Bloomberg Television as a non-exclusive business anchor and special correspondent, cementing her status as an established television personality and financial expert, and further increasing her net worth.

Lapin is a regular guest on various shows too, including “Good Morning America” and “Dr. Oz”, in which she provides her expert commentary on finances. She serves as the money saving correspondent for “The Wendy Williams Show”, and as a special correspondent, she reports on the business of Hollywood for “The Insider”. She is also credited for creating the financial news website Recessionista, as well as the AOL Originals show “I’ll Never Forget My First”, interviewing influential women about their pathway to success.

In 2014 Lapin and her retail partner HSN launched a wearable device that tracks money spending throughout the day, called CASH Smartwatch. The same year she released her first book entitled “Rich Bitch”, which became an instant New York Times Bestseller. All added to her fortune, and she is now working on her second book entitled “Boss Bitch”.

As of 2015, she has served as the host and only female judge of the CW Network’s business competition show called “Hatched”. She has also written a column on money for Redbook Magazine.

In her personal life, Lapin is believed to be dating the founder and CEO of GSI Commerce, Michael Rubin.

Nicole is an active philanthropist too, serving as an ambassador for organizations such as Starlight Starbright Children’s Foundation, Operation Smile and Points of Light, and being a board member of Women in Need.
