During her studies, she played guard for the Lady Lions basketball team from 1986-87, the shortest player in school history. She graduated in 1988 with a BA in broadcast journalism, and soon joined WBAL-TV in Baltimore, where she worked as a reporter until 1995. She then started working as a correspondent for ABC News based in Los Angeles, and held that position for six years. In March 2000, Lisa joined ESPN as a general assignment reporter, and since then has covered numerous important events, with her reports regularly appearing on the award-winning “Outside the Line” series.
