Have you ever wondered how rich Jesse Palmer is, as of mid-2016? According to authoritative sources, Palmer’s estimated net worth is $4 million, made while playing professional football in the NFL, but also from appearing in the reality TV series “The Bachelor” in 2004, and now from working as a football analyst.

Jesse Palmer Net Worth $4 Million

Jesse James Palmer is a son of Bill, a former Ottawa Rough Riders player, and Susan, fashion and print model. Although he was born in Toronto, Palmer grew up in the Ottawa suburbs. He went to St. Pius X High School, where he played football in the Ontario Amateur Football Association with The Myers Riders Football Club.
After matriculating from the high school, Jesse Palmer accepted an athletic scholarship and went to Gainesville, Florida to attend the University of Florida and play football for the Florida Gators, as a quarterback under head coach Steve Spurrier from 1997 to 2000. During college years, Palmer shared time as a starter with Doug Johnson, and later Rex Grossman. He had the best season as a senior in 2000, when he made the longest pass for a touchdown in his career, connecting with wide receiver Bo Carroll for 75-yards. Palmer also uniquely recorded four rushing touchdowns in a match against Kentucky Wildcats.

In four years at college, Palmer recorded 3,755 passing yards, was selected as one of the team’s captains in his senior year, and rewarded with the Gators’ Fergie Ferguson Award for the “senior football player who displays outstanding leadership, character, and courage.” in the final year of college, in 2000.
It was a time for Palmer to try his luck in the NFL, and the New York Giants selected him in the 4th round (125th overall pick) of the NFL 2001 Draft. Jesse Palmer played for the Giants for four years (2001-2004), but he was mainly used as a backup to starting quarterback Kerry Collins. Although he was just the second Canadian quarterback to start in the NFL (behind Mark Rypien), the New York Giants cut him in September 2005, and Palmer never played in the NFL again. He recorded 63 completed passes for 562 yards and three touchdowns during four years as a professional. However, the four years spent in the best league in the world made him a millionaire.

Jesse Palmer tried to play football again, this time in the Canadian Football League, but without success, so in 2007 he turned to a broadcasting career instead. He first appeared on the NFL Network on April 2007 as a commentator and analyst during the NFL Draft weekend. In May 2007, Palmer joined ESPN as a game analyst on ESPN Thursday Night College Football games. As a studio analyst for ESPN, Palmer covered the Rose Bowl in Pasadena, California in 2009, the Fiesta Bowl in Glendale, Arizona in 2010, and the Cotton Bowl in Dallas, Texas in 2012. Working as an analyst has improved his total net worth considerably.

Jesse Palmer was the first athlete to appear in the reality series “The Bachelor” in 2004, and also the first non-American bachelor. He was a guest star in the seventh season of “Law & Order: Special Victims Unit” in 2005. Notably, the first two seasons of the food competition show “Recipe to Riches” in 2011 and 2012 were hosted by Palmer, and he also hosted a similar show called “Food Truck Face Off” in 2014, which also added to his net worth.
When it comes to his personal life, little is known about him in the media, apart from the fact that he currently resides in Orlando, Florida.
