After school, he worked as a freelance, doing wedding gown designs and make-up for a few clients. He then decided to join “Project Runway” for its fourth season in 2008, going on to win three challenges, the most any one contestant has ever won in a single season. He won the competition and was even praised by Victoria Beckham, who is now one of his many celebrity clients.
